Job Summary:

The MIS Executive will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing data related to sales, inventory, billing, and customer relationship management. The candidate will support daily operations by generating reports, ensuring data accuracy, and helping the management make data-driven decisions in the jewellery retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update databases related to sales, purchases, customer records, inventory, and staff attendance.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management including sales summary, stock movement, fast/slow-moving items, etc.

• Generate barcode tags and item-wise tagging reports.

• Coordinate with the billing team to reconcile sales data with inventory.

• Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for replenishment.

• Maintain digital and physical records of purchases, returns, and repairs.

• Support in stock audits and ensure data accuracy in ERP/POS system.

• Create dashboards and visual reports for easy understanding.

• Coordinate with vendors for system or software support.

• Assist in implementing and updating ERP/POS or inventory management systems.

• Train staff on data entry and usage of reporting tools (basic level).

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Charts, etc.)

• Experience with Tally ERP, retail POS software or jewellery management systems (preferred).

• Data accuracy and analytical skills

• Good communication and documentation abilities

• Time management and multitasking capabilities

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / IT / Business Administration or related field

• 1–3 years experience in a similar MIS/Data Management role (Retail/Jewellery industry preferred)

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
