MIS Executive

We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a reputed Tea Manufacturing Group based in Siliguri. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance across group entities. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory regulations, and manufacturing cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Handle GST, TDS, income tax returns, and statutory compliances

• Maintain books of accounts as per accounting standards

• Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of entries

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits

• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production expenses

• Ensure timely bank reconciliation and cash flow management

• Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis

Candidate Profile
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (CA preferred)
Experience: 6–10 years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing / tea industry

Skills Required:

• Accounting & Taxation: GST, TDS, Income Tax (return filing, assessments), Advance Tax

• Accounting Systems: Proficiency in Tally and ERP systems (experience with SAP/Oracle/FMS is a plus)

• Cost & Inventory: Cost Accounting, Inventory Valuation, Standard Costing, Production Cost Analysis

• Financial Reporting & Controls: Preparing financial statements, bank reconciliation, internal control documentation

• Audit & Compliance: Coordination with statutory and internal audits, statutory compliance management

• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros), MIS reporting

• Soft Skills: Leadership and team-handling ability, attention to detail, analytical mindset
