Job Summary:

The MIS Coordinator (Security Operations) will play a crucial role in managing and

supporting the security operations within our organization. The candidate will be

responsible for coordinating and maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) to

ensure the security of data and information.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in security

operations and data management.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Data Management and Reporting:

- Collect, analyze, and report security-related data to support decision-making

processes.

- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on security metrics, incidents, and

performance indicators.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality within the MIS.

2. Email Monitoring and Maintenance:

- Monitor Emails & Alerts on continuous basis.

- Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to security systems promptly.

3. Incident Response:

- Assist in the coordination of response activities during security incidents.

- Maintain logs and documentation of security incidents and follow up on resolution.

- Support investigations by providing necessary data and reports.

4. Policy and Procedure Adherence:

- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and guidelines.

- Provide training and support to staff on security procedures and best practices.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the Security Operations Manager and other departments to

support security initiatives.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding security

matters.

- Participate in security meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in security operations and MIS.

- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness

of security operations.

- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Security Management, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in MIS, security operations, or a related role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in using Ticketing Tool and Microsoft Office Products for Data

Management and Reporting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

- Having Proper knowledge on Microsoft products (Excel, PPT, Word)

- Basic knowledge of network security and cybersecurity principles.

- Having working knowledge of Service Now Ticketing tool.
