Job Description for Export/Import Documentation

An export / import documentation specialist is responsible for supporting export/Import activities, oversees preparation of commercial documents in accordance with LC/TT, and handles CHA and related agencies.

Export Documentation Role and Responsibility

A Export Documentation person needs to perform the following tasks:

·       Pre & Post shipment Documentation

·       Handle the Customs Clearance: Regulations, Procedures Documentation,DGFT,CHA,Freight Forwarding

·       knowledge of Indian and Foreign trade policies & operations to ensure effective management of the exports business

·       Coordination with Overseas Buyers, CHA, freight forwarders & Shipping Agents regarding shipments, Preparation of BRC.

·       Bank works related to Export Documentation

Requirements

·       Graduation

·       At Least 3 years of experience in similar areas

·       Strong communicator, both verbal and written

·       Past references from previously worked companies are mandatory.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
