Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nursing Incharge to lead the nursing team, ensure high standards of patient care, maintain clinical quality, and oversee smooth nursing operations across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage nursing staff across OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, Emergency, and Day Care.
Prepare duty rosters, allocate staff, and ensure adequate nursing coverage.
Monitor nursing practices and ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
Coordinate with consultants, RMOs, and other departments for seamless patient care.
Ensure accurate medication administration, documentation, and nursing records.
Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff on clinical skills and quality standards.
Handle patient and attendant concerns related to nursing services.
Monitor nursing inventory, consumables, and equipment availability.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and accreditation activities.
Ensure timely reporting of incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
Qualification
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
M.Sc. Nursing preferred
Valid State Nursing Council Registration
Experience
8+ years of nursing experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory or Nursing Incharge role.
Skills Required
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent clinical knowledge and patient care expertise.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of infection control, quality standards, and hospital protocols.
Ability to handle emergencies and make timely decisions.
