Key Responsibilities
Documentation Preparation: Prepare, review, and process pre- and post-shipment documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Shipping Bills.
Compliance & Customs: Ensure all shipments comply with export regulations, trade policies, and customs requirements.
Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and customs house agents (CHA) to ensure timely cargo dispatch.
Banking & Letters of Credit (LC): Handle bank documentation and negotiations, including LC compliance.
Shipment Tracking & Reporting: Track consignments until arrival, inform customers of shipment status, and prepare daily/weekly reports on documentation and logistics.
Records Management: Maintain accurate and orderly records of all export shipments. Required Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills:
Knowledge: Strong understanding of policy, rules, and Customs procedures.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in document drafting to avoid penalties.
Communication: Effective communication skills for coordination with vendors and clients.
