Core Responsibilities
Quotation Preparation: Gather information from clients and internal teams to prepare detailed and accurate quotations and proposals in line with company pricing policies.
Cost and Pricing Analysis: Calculate costs, apply appropriate margins, and establish competitive selling prices using defined methods and pricing tools.
Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the necessary cost, material specifications, and lead-time information for products not readily available.
Documentation and Data Management: Accurately enter and maintain customer and pricing data in internal systems, such as ERP software, and manage all related documentation.
Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and quotation status, while ensuring high-quality customer service.
Follow-up and Conversion: Track and monitor pending quotations, following up with sales representatives and clients to maximize conversion rates and secure orders.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure seamless project execution and alignment of quotations with project goals.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing strategies to provide input on strategic decisions and new product developments.
