We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Document Verification Officer to join our team. The role involves verifying and validating documents submitted by clients, customers, or internal departments to ensure authenticity, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Review and verify documents submitted for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
Cross-check details against internal databases or external sources when required.
Flag and report discrepancies or suspicious documents for further investigation.
Maintain accurate records of verified and rejected documents.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and legal regulations.
Communicate with clients or applicants to request missing or additional documentation.
Work closely with other teams such as compliance, operations, and customer service.
Meet daily or weekly verification targets and deadlines.
Handle sensitive and confidential information securely.
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in document verification, data entry, compliance, or similar roles.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with verification tools and document types (e.g., ID cards, certificates, contracts).
Basic knowledge of data protection and confidentiality standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and data entry systems.
Office-based or remote work (depending on company policy).
