Job Title: Computer Operator – GeM & Tendering Services
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Computer Operator to manage Government e-Marketplace (GeM) operations and tendering activities. The candidate will be responsible for handling online tender submissions, GeM portal operations, documentation, data entry, correspondence, and ensuring compliance with government procurement requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and operate the GeM portal for product/service listings, bid participation, and order processing.
Search, analyze, and monitor government tenders from various procurement portals.
Prepare, upload, and submit tender documents within specified deadlines.
Maintain records of tender submissions, bid results, and contract documents.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and government departments regarding tender requirements.
Handle digital signatures (DSC), e-procurement portals, and online documentation.
Prepare quotations, compliance sheets, technical documents, and commercial bids.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records.
Generate reports, invoices, and other administrative documents as required.
Ensure all tendering activities comply with government regulations and company policies.
Follow up on tender status, purchase orders, payments, and contract execution.
Required Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of GeM Portal operations and e-tendering processes.
Familiarity with government procurement procedures and online bidding platforms.
Good typing speed and data entry skills.
Ability to manage documents and meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) and PDF/document management tools.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or Diploma in Computer Applications.
Certification in Computer Applications is preferred.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in GeM portal handling, e-tendering, or related administrative work.
Freshers with good knowledge of GeM and tendering processes may also apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CPPP, State Tender Portals, and other e-procurement systems.
Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and basic commercial documentation.
Familiarity with government procurement guidelines.
