Data Operator

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our diamond manufacturing factory in Sachin, Surat. The ideal candidate will manage data related to diamond processing, inventory, and quality control with accuracy. Knowledge of the diamond industry or prior experience in a manufacturing setup is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Entry and Management:

Enter and update information related to diamond processing, grading, and inventory using software systems (e.g., ERP, Gati or proprietary tools).

Maintain accurate production records, including cutting, polishing, and finishing details.

2. Documentation:

Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output and inventory levels.

Ensure proper documentation of raw material inflow and processed goods outflow.

3. Quality Assurance Support:

Record and verify quality-related data from inspection teams.

Assist in tracking rejected or defective pieces for rework.

4. Coordination:

Collaborate with the production, quality, and logistics teams for smooth workflow.

Provide real-time updates to supervisors or managers about discrepancies or urgent matters.

5. Database Maintenance:

Regularly back up data and ensure system integrity.

Perform periodic audits to identify errors and rectify inconsistencies.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or certification in computer applications is preferred.

Proficiency in data entry software (e.g., MS Office, or customized ERP solutions).
