Data Entry Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Inventory Management:

   • Accurately enter and update records of engineering spares, tools, and equipment in the inventory system.

   • Record receipts, issues, returns, and transfers of engineering materials.

   • Verify part numbers, descriptions, and specifications for correct data entry.

2. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Generate and maintain daily/weekly stock reports for engineering items.

   • Assist in preparing material consumption and reorder reports.

   • Support physical stock verification and cycle counting activities.

3. System & Database Maintenance:

   • Ensure all inventory transactions are promptly and accurately recorded in the system (ERP/SAP/MRO).

   • Identify and rectify discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

   • Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance.

4. Coordination & Support:

   • Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams for smooth inventory operations.

   • Assist in raising purchase requisitions for critical spares based on minimum stock levels.

   • Provide necessary data for maintenance planning and project requirements.

5. Compliance & Accuracy:

   • Follow company policies and industry standards for inventory control.

   • Ensure data confidentiality and security.

Support internal and external audits with accurate records.
