The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity and supporting daily operations by maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, and systems
Verify and correct data where necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain data confidentiality and security in line with company policies
Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry
Review data for deficiencies or errors and resolve discrepancies
Generate routine reports and summaries as required
Support other departments with data-related tasks
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role
Excellent typing skills (with high accuracy and speed)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Familiarity with data entry software and CRM systems
Basic knowledge of database structures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
