Role Overview
A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and basic computer proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Enter data from source documents into systems (Excel, CRM, databases)
Verify accuracy of data before and after entry
Update and maintain records regularly
Review data for errors and correct inconsistencies
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Generate basic reports when required
Organize and manage digital files
Required Skills
Fast and accurate typing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer tools
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Basic understanding of data management
Ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum: 12th pass / Graduate (preferred)
Basic computer certification (optional but helpful)
Experience
0–2 years (freshers can apply)
Work Environment
Office-based / Remote / Hybrid depending on company
Salary Range (India)
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
