We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to efficiently input, update, and maintain data in our computer systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for accuracy. You will work with confidential information and ensure the integrity and accuracy of our company’s data.
Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
Verify and correct data discrepancies and errors.
Maintain and update records, ensuring all data is current and accurate.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Review data for completeness and accuracy before entry.
Generate reports and perform basic data analysis as required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Follow data program techniques and procedures.
Respond to data inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
Fast typing skills (minimum 40–60 WPM).
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools, spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office Word, Excel), and databases.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience with data management software or CRM systems.
Knowledge of administrative procedures.
Familiarity with office equipment like scanners and printers.
This is a full-time/part-time position (specify as needed).
