Key Responsibilities

• Data Input: Accurately transfer text, numbers, or codes from source documents into company computer systems or databases.

• Verification: Review new and existing entries for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct discrepancies.

• Database Maintenance: Update, sort, and organize digital records so that files are easily accessible for other departments.

• Security & Confidentiality: Follow strict data protection protocols and perform routine backups to prevent information loss.

• Reporting: Generate and export data reports, summaries, or spreadsheets as requested by management.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Typing Skills: Fast and highly accurate typing speed (often requiring 45–60+ words per minute).

• Tech Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and database systems.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor errors or typos in large volumes of information.

• Organization: Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle repetitive tasks and meet deadlines.
