BILLDESK EXECUTIVE
A Bill Desk Executive manages the entire billing cycle: generating accurate invoices (using software like Tally), processing payments (cash, digital), maintaining financial records, resolving customer billing queries/discrepancies, and ensuring compliance, requiring strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills for smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Management: Prepare, generate, and process sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
Financial Transactions: Handle payment collection (cash, UPI, cards), issue receipts, and manage daily cash flow.
Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of all billing transactions, accounts payable/receivable, and customer accounts.
Customer Service: Address and resolve customer billing inquiries, disputes, and payment issues efficiently.
Data Accuracy: Collect and verify billing information from different departments to ensure data integrity.
Process Improvement: Assist in developing and improving billing procedures and identifying opportunities for automation.
Compliance: Ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies and financial regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Office, and familiarity with digital payment systems.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, high attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar billing or finance role is beneficial.
