We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bank Operations Officer to oversee daily banking activities, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and provide exceptional support to internal and external customers. The role involves processing transactions, reconciling accounts, managing operational risk, and supporting front-office teams.
Transaction Processing:
Process deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, remittances, and other financial transactions accurately.
Ensure timely processing of inward and outward clearing.
Monitor cash levels and ATM operations (if applicable).
Compliance and Risk Management:
Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements as per RBI and bank norms.
Report suspicious transactions or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) alerts.
Maintain KYC and customer documentation up to date.
Reconciliation and Reporting:
Perform daily reconciliation of general ledger accounts, suspense accounts, and bank statements.
Prepare MIS reports and submit them to regulatory and internal stakeholders.
Customer and Branch Support:
Provide operational support to the branch staff and resolve customer issues promptly.
Coordinate with central processing units or back offices when necessary.
Technology and System Handling:
Operate core banking software and systems effectively.
Report and escalate system errors or downtimes.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred for senior roles).
1–5 years of relevant experience in bank operations (fresher-friendly for entry-level).
Familiarity with core banking solutions (Finacle, Flexcube, etc.).
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and operations policies.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and customer service orientation.
Good understanding of banking products and services.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
