1. Ayushman Card Generation & Verification
Assist patients in verifying Ayushman eligibility using BIS portal or mobile apps
Download and print Ayushman cards for eligible patients
Ensure document collection (Aadhar, ration card, etc.) for card generation
Coordinate with patients to create or update records if not found in the database
2. Patient Registration & Admission Under Scheme
Register patients under the scheme after checking eligibility
Coordinate with IPD/OPD departments for admission under the Ayushman scheme
Generate and maintain PMJAY registration and treatment records
3. Pre-authorization & Treatment Enhancement
Initiate pre-auth requests for listed procedures with correct documentation
Track status of approvals and take necessary follow-up actions
In case of treatment cost escalation, prepare and upload enhancement requests
Coordinate with patients and doctors for clarification or extra documents if needed
4. Claims Management & TPA Coordination
Prepare and submit claim files with all supporting documents (case sheet, investigation, discharge summary, etc.)
Track and follow up on claim approvals, rejections, and pendency
Coordinate with TPA/state Ayushman team for queries and resolution
Ensure that claims are submitted within timelines and in proper format
5. Patient Education & Coordination
Explain the scheme benefits, process, and limits to patients/families clearly
Help patients avail maximum benefits under PMJAY without confusion
Maintain patient satisfaction and resolve concerns related to Ayushman billing
6. Reporting & Record Keeping
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports
Document all patient interactions, approvals, and claim statuses properly
Ensure all records are complete and audit-ready
Graduate (any stream); preference to Experienced candidates.
Knowledge of PMJAY / Ayushman Bharat guidelines is essential
Basic Computer Skills (MS Excel, Internet, Portal usage)
Experience in hospital, insurance desk, or govt. schemes preferred
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle patient queries with empathy and professionalism
