Job Summary
Back-Office Sales for Chemicals supports the frontline sales team by managing administrative sales tasks, customer data, quotes, order processing, follow-ups, and coordination between internal teams (logistics, procurement, finance). This role ensures smooth sales operations and creates an excellent customer experience while contributing to sales growth.
This position exists across all cities (Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur) with similar responsibilities but may emphasize regional customer segments, market knowledge and local industry exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Order Processing
Receive and process sales enquiries from customers via email/phone/CRM.
Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and product information timely.
Enter sales orders & ensure accuracy (pricing, terms, delivery schedules).
Coordinate with logistics for shipment tracking and confirmations.
Ensure all sales documents (POs, invoices, delivery challans) are accurate and shared with customers.
Skills & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Business / Sales / Marketing or related field.
Experience
1–4 years of back office sales or sales support experience, preferably in chemicals, industrial products, or related sectors.
Experience in CRM tools, ERP systems is a plus.
Key Skills
Excellent verbal & written communication (English + local language proficiency).
Strong organizational & multitasking skills.
Attention to detail (critical for chemical specifications and orders).
Good computer skills (MS Office, CRM, basic ERP).
Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
