A backend computer operator provides support to office and operational teams by handling documentation, data entry, reporting, and follow-ups using MS Word, Excel, and other office tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation & MS Word Work
• Prepare, format, and maintain official documents, letters, and reports in MS Word.
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain digital and physical filing systems.
2. Data Entry & MS Excel Management
• Enter, update, and manage data in MS Excel spreadsheets.
• Create and update reports, tables, and charts as required.
• Perform basic calculations, filtering, and sorting for record management.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of data.
3. Follow-Up & Coordination
• Track pending tasks, documents, and reports.
• Follow up with departments, clients, or vendors through phone calls, emails, or written communication.
• Maintain logs of follow-ups and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
4. Backend Administrative Support
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and schedules.
• Handle email correspondence and routine office communication.
• Support senior staff with backend operations and clerical tasks.
5. Record Keeping & Reporting
• Maintain updated records of work done, files, and communications.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports as instructed.
• Ensure confidentiality of official data and documents.
