The CCTV Monitoring Officer is responsible for observing, operating, and maintaining surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and premises. The role involves monitoring live and recorded footage, identifying suspicious activities, and reporting incidents in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor live CCTV feeds and review recorded footage to detect suspicious or criminal activities
Report incidents promptly to supervisors, security teams, or law enforcement when required
Maintain accurate logs of observations, incidents, and actions taken
Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning correctly and report faults or maintenance needs
Follow data protection, privacy, and confidentiality regulations at all times
Assist with investigations by providing video evidence when authorized
Respond to alarms and coordinate with on-site security personnel
Maintain a high level of vigilance during assigned shifts
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security standards.
