The Back Office Executive – Government Sales is responsible for managing administrative tasks that support the government sales team. This includes handling documentation, coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Tender and Proposal Management: Assist in preparing and submitting government tenders, ensuring all documentation meets required standards.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain and organize all sales-related documents, ensuring adherence to government compliance and audit requirements.
Data Management: Update and manage customer databases, sales records, and inventory logs pertinent to government contracts.
Coordination: Liaise between the sales team and other departments such as finance, logistics, and legal to ensure timely delivery and contract fulfillment.
Customer Support: Address inquiries from government clients, providing necessary information and resolving issues promptly.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, contract status, and other key metrics for internal review.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a back-office role, preferably within government sales or a similar sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel specially in V- lookup
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Understanding of Government Processes: Familiarity with government procurement procedures and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Additional certifications in public procurement or contract management are advantageous.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in local languages and English to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to support sales strategies.
