Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Export Documentation

• Prepare pre- and post-shipment documents (Invoice, Packing List, CO, B/L or AWB, insurance, inspection certificates, etc.) as per LC / contract / buyer requirements.

• Check LC terms, share discrepancies if any and ensure full document compliance.

• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders and shipping lines for documentation inputs.

• Ensure correct HS codes, product description, quantity and values in all documents.

2. Shipment Coordination

• Prepare shipping instructions and coordinate for booking, stuffing and dispatch.

• Track shipments and share documents / shipment status with customers and sales team.

• Ensure timely filing of shipping bills and other statutory documents with CHA / online.

3. Compliance & Regulatory

• Adhere to customs, DGFT, RBI and foreign trade policy requirements.

• Maintain working knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation norms and country-specific documentary requirements.

• Coordinate for licenses, registrations and codes (AD code, RCMC etc.) wherever needed.

4. Banking & Payment Support

• Submit export documents to bank for negotiation / collection / discounting. • Follow up with bank and customer for realization of export proceeds.

• Support reconciliation of export documents with bank statements / shipping bills for audit and export incentive claims.

5. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain proper filing (physical and digital) of all export documents and correspondence
