Structural Designer

GA Construction is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for structural planning, design, drafting and preparation of structural drawings for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural drawings and detailed working drawings.

• Prepare structural plans, sections, elevations and reinforcement details.

• Develop RCC structural designs for beams, columns, slabs, foundations and other structural elements.

• Prepare Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) and reinforcement details.

• Coordinate structural drawings with architectural and civil drawings.

• Review drawings and make necessary corrections as per site requirements.

• Assist in structural estimation and quantity calculations.

• Ensure drawings are prepared as per applicable codes, standards and project requirements.

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Architects and other team members.

• Make revisions and modifications in drawings as required.

• Maintain proper records of drawings and design documents.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.

• Experience in Structural Design & Drafting will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and structural drawing preparation.

• Knowledge of RCC design and detailing.

• Knowledge of STAAD.Pro / ETABS will be an added advantage.

• Good understanding of construction drawings and structural details.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
