The Senior Architect is responsible for leading architectural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality output, timely delivery, and smooth coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams. The role requires strong design skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
1. Design & Planning
Develop conceptual designs, layouts, master plans, and detailed architectural drawings.
Oversee design development and ensure alignment with client requirements and project goals.
Provide creative and functional design solutions during all stages of the project.
2. Project Management
Manage and lead multiple projects from initial concept to final execution.
Prepare project timelines, milestone schedules, and deliverables.
Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project scope, quality, and timelines.
3. Client Interaction
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
Understand client needs and convert them into functional, aesthetic design solutions.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
4. Coordination & Supervision
Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) and contractors.
Guide and supervise junior architects, designers, and drafting teams.
Conduct site visits to review work execution and ensure design compliance.
5. Technical Expertise
Review and approve working drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and construction details.
Ensure that all designs comply with local building bye-laws, NBC rules, and regulatory standards.
Identify and resolve design or technical issues proactively.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare detailed project documentation, design reports, and progress updates.
Ensure proper filing and organization of project data and drawings.
