Senior Architect

Qualification: B.Arch Only

(Key Responsibilities)⬇️

1. Design & Concept Development

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design strategies based on client requirements.

• Ensure designs are functional, aesthetic, and aligned with project budgets and timelines.

• Review and finalize drawings, 3D views, and presentations before client submission.

2. Project Management & Coordination

• Plan project schedules and monitor progress at every stage.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure smooth communication between office teams and site teams.

3. Technical & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, by-laws, and authority regulations.

• Oversee preparation of working drawings, GFC drawings, and approval sets.

• Resolve technical issues during execution and provide site solutions.

4. Client Interaction & Approvals

• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design discussions.

• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design intent.

• Handle authority submissions and approval coordination where required.

5. Site Execution & Quality Control

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor execution quality and progress.

• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Address on-site challenges and coordinate design clarifications.

6. Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and guide junior architects, interns, and designers.

• Assign tasks, review work, and ensure timely deliverables.

• Support skill development and maintain design standards within the team.

7. Cost & Time Control

• Coordinate with QS and vendors for BOQs and material specifications.

• Monitor project costs and suggest value-engineering options when needed.

• Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines.
