We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing architectural consultancy team. You will play a critical role in providing accurate cost planning, quantity take-offs, and cost control services for a wide range of architectural and interior design projects including residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and high-end developments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost estimates from architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications at various stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and Tender).
Perform quantity take-offs for all civil, architectural, and interior works (including finishes, joinery, MEP interface items, facades, etc.).
Develop and maintain cost plans and elemental cost breakdowns throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide cost advice during design development to support value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design intent.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, tender analysis, and recommendations.
Review and validate contractor/sub-contractor quotations and variations.
Monitor project costs, prepare monthly cost reports, and highlight potential cost overruns or savings.
Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.
Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other consultants on all cost-related matters.
Maintain an up-to-date cost database and rate analysis for architectural and interior works.
Support the team in pre-contract and post-contract cost management.
