Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing architectural consultancy team. You will play a critical role in providing accurate cost planning, quantity take-offs, and cost control services for a wide range of architectural and interior design projects including residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and high-end developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost estimates from architectural drawings, sketches, and specifications at various stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and Tender).

• Perform quantity take-offs for all civil, architectural, and interior works (including finishes, joinery, MEP interface items, facades, etc.).

• Develop and maintain cost plans and elemental cost breakdowns throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide cost advice during design development to support value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design intent.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, tender analysis, and recommendations.

• Review and validate contractor/sub-contractor quotations and variations.

• Monitor project costs, prepare monthly cost reports, and highlight potential cost overruns or savings.

• Prepare interim payment certificates and final accounts.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other consultants on all cost-related matters.

• Maintain an up-to-date cost database and rate analysis for architectural and interior works.

• Support the team in pre-contract and post-contract cost management.
