Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance & Site Billing Executive is responsible for ensuring high-quality painting work while also managing site measurements, billing, and material tracking. This role combines quality control with site-level quantity verification and reporting to ensure cost efficiency and accurate project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance (Core Work):
Conduct regular site inspections for painting quality
Ensure proper surface preparation (putty, sanding, primer)
Check paint application, finish, and color consistency
Identify and report defects (peeling, cracks, uneven finish)
Ensure work meets client and company standards
2. Site Measurement & Billing:
Take accurate site measurements (sq. ft / sq. m) of completed work
Prepare running bills and final bills based on work completed
Verify contractor/vendor bills with actual site measurements
Maintain proper documentation for billing and approvals
3. Material Tracking & Stock Management:
Maintain daily record of material received and used (paint, primer, putty, etc.)
Monitor stock levels at site and report shortages
Track material consumption vs work completed (e.g., liters per sq. ft)
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials
Minimize wastage and control material cost
4. Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare daily/weekly site reports
Maintain records of:
Work progress
Material consumption
Quality inspection reports
Submit reports to management regularly
Maintain checklist for each stage of painting work
5. Coordination:
Coordinate with site supervisors, painters, and contractors
Ensure work is completed as per timeline and quality standards
Communicate issues and ensure timely resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field
1–4 years experience in painting, construction, or interior works
Knowledge of:
Painting processes and materials
Site measurement and billing
Material consumption calculation
Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reporting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy of site measurements and billing
Material usage efficiency (low wastage)
Quality defect reduction
Timely report submission
Client satisfaction
Working Conditions:
Site-based role (multiple locations)
Regular coordination with field teams
May require travel between sites
