Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Modular Kitchen Design Engineer to design, plan, and execute innovative modular kitchen layouts tailored to client requirements. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creative design skills to deliver functional, aesthetically appealing, and cost-effective kitchen solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop customized modular kitchen designs based on client needs, space availability, and budget.
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Conduct site visits for measurements and feasibility analysis.
Coordinate with sales teams, project managers, vendors, and installation teams.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material specifications.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Optimize space utilization, storage solutions, and workflow efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest trends in kitchen design, materials, hardware, and appliances.
Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.
Maintain documentation for project approvals and revisions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in modular kitchen design or interior fit-out projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or similar design software.
Strong knowledge of materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware fittings, and kitchen accessories.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and installation techniques.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP/CRM software for project tracking.
Knowledge of ergonomics and kitchen workflow principles.
Strong visualization and presentation skills.
