Job Description

Department: Engineering & Quality

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2-D & 3-Dmanufacturing drawings for mechanical components, fixtures, and assemblies.
Develop fabrication drawings, GA drawings, part drawings, and assembly drawings as per design inputs.
Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and assist in documentation control.
Revise and update drawings based on design changes and production feedback.
Coordinate with design engineers, production team, and vendors for drawing clarifications.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing feasibility.
Maintain drawing records, version control, and documentation
Support shop floor during fabrication and assembly with drawing interpretation.

Skills and Experience:

Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards, GD&T, and tolerances.
Proficiency in 2-D CAD software (AutoCAD mandatory) and 3-D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS mandatory).
Knowledge of fabrication processes, machining, and sheet metal practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and design inputs.
Good attention to detail and drafting accuracy.
2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting.

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Draughtsman Mechanical
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
