Mechanical draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling as per project and client requirements.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies.

• Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

• Revise and update designs based on feedback and test results.

• Maintain documentation of all design-related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in jig and fixture design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (mandatory).

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
