PPC Mechanical Engineer (Production Planning & Control)

Job Summary:
The PPC Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring
all production activities related to mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring efficient
workflow, material availability, and on-time delivery of homogenizers and associated parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed daily/weekly/monthly production plans based on customer orders and
delivery schedules.
Schedule machining, fabrication, and assembly operations using CNC machine data and
capacity.
Coordinate with design, CNC, procurement, store, and assembly departments to
streamline production.
Issue job orders and ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and plan raw materials and bought-out items
accordingly.
Monitor inventory levels and raise alerts for shortages or overstock.
Track work-in-progress (WIP), machine utilization, and manpower allocation.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize rework or delays.
Identify bottlenecks and propose process optimization in CNC operations and assembly
line.
Assist in implementation of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement
practices.
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of CNC machining and mechanical manufacturing processes.
Experience working with homogenizers or similar process equipment is a plus.
Good command of ERP/MRP systems and production tracking tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent coordination, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a machine-building / capital equipment manufacturing company.
Familiarity with fabrication, precision machining, and mechanical assembly line
planning.
