Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in preparing technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software, capable of translating engineering concepts into accurate, clear, and comprehensive technical drawings that meet industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.

• Interpret and apply technical data, specifications, and engineering instructions to design layouts.

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to understand design intent and project requirements.

• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or improvements.

• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

• Maintain organized documentation and drawing records for current and archived projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship or a related field.

• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar drafting/design software.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fabrication techniques, and materials.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
