Junior Architect

Position: Architectural Draftsman
Department: Architect / Construction
Experience: Fresher to 4 years of relevant experience
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (In-Hand)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join our construction site team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining civil drawings as per project requirements and coordinating with engineers and the site team for smooth execution of work.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare civil drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and other drawings required for construction work.

· Prepare drawings based on instructions and requirements provided by the Site Engineer/Project Engineer.

· Make changes and revisions to drawings as required during project execution.

· Coordinate with the site team to understand actual site conditions and update drawings accordingly.

· Read and understand civil, architectural, and structural drawings.

· Prepare detailed drawings for site execution and ensure all dimensions and details are accurate.

· Prepare and maintain as-built drawings based on completed site work.

· Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions.

· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other site personnel regarding drawing-related requirements.

· Visit the site when required to verify measurements and site conditions.

· Ensure drawings are completed accurately and within the required timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

· Fresher to 2 years of relevant experience as a Architectural Draftsman.

· Good knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.

· Good understanding of civil construction drawings and site work.

· Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

· Good knowledge of dimensions, levels, measurements, and construction details.

· Good attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with the site team.

· Candidates with experience in construction and civil site projects will be preferred.

The position is primarily related to civil construction/site work and requires regular coordination with the site team.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have knowledge drafting and be comfortable working in a construction site environment. The candidate should be able to understand technical requirements, prepare accurate drawings, and coordinate effectively with engineers and site personnel.
