Junior Architect: Job Description
A Junior Architect supports the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects under the guidance of senior architects. The role involves preparing concept nd detailed working drawings, developing design concepts, making 3D visualizations to ensure projects meet design standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing architectural designs and concepts.
Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentations.
Draft plans using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Enscape/Lumion.
Support preparation of construction documents and technical details.
Maintain project files, schedules, and reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
Internship or 0-1 years of professional experience preferred.
Work Environment
Work is typically office-based with periodic construction site visits.
Collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients is common.
May require working on multiple projects simultaneously.
