Key Responsibilities
Safety Management: Conduct routine safety inspections, enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and implement immediate protocols in the event of on-site accidents or hazards.
Personnel Management: Supervise employees and subcontractors, delegate daily tasks, maintain attendance records, and evaluate productivity.
Quality Control: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure all structural work complies with design, budget, and regulatory specifications.
Resource Coordination: Oversee the inventory, ordering, and delivery of construction materials and ensure heavy machinery is operational.
Reporting: Compile daily and weekly progress reports to communicate with project managers, stakeholders, and clients.
Essential Requirements
Education & Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, alongside proven hands-on supervisory experience.
Certifications: Current CPR and first aid certifications are generally required.
Technical Skills: Strong ability to read blueprints, interpret building codes, and utilize construction management software.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and leadership abilities to coordinate diverse trade teams.
