Key Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Duties
Blueprint Interpretation: Expertly read, analyze, and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings, maps, and specifications.
Site Setting & Surveying: Accurately set out the site, establish levels, and mark reference points based strictly on the provided drawings.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify any discrepancies between blueprints and actual site conditions, and resolve technical issues proactively before they cause delays.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous stage-by-stage inspections to guarantee that all construction work mirrors the precise measurements and materials specified in the drawings.
Site Management Duties
Daily Operations: Direct and oversee all daily construction activities, ensuring steady progress and efficient use of time by laborers and subcontractors.
Material Estimation: Calculate exact material requirements based on structural maps and coordinate timely procurement to prevent site downtime.
Team Leadership: Manage and guide the on-site workforce, translating technical blueprint requirements into clear, actionable instructions for foremen and tradespeople.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce stringent health and safety protocols and ensure all building practices comply with local zoning laws and building codes.
Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs of site progress and report updates to the project stakeholders and lead architects.
