Interior Site Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Coordination

• Supervise daily on-site activities and ensure smooth workflow.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.

• Ensure all work is carried out as per design drawings and specifications.

• Communicate with project managers, designers, and clients regularly.

2. Work Execution & Quality Control

• Monitor execution of interior works such as carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, painting, flooring, and fabrication.

• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.

• Identify defects, rectify issues, and ensure timely completion of snag work.

3. Material Management

• Check and verify materials delivered on site as per BOQ/specifications.

• Maintain stock records and prevent material wastage.

• Raise material requirements in advance to avoid delays.

4. Manpower Management

• Manage daily labour deployment and workforce productivity.

• Ensure proper allocation of tasks to skilled and unskilled workers.

• Monitor labour attendance and prepare daily manpower reports.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all workers follow safety rules and use proper PPE.

• Maintain clean and organized site conditions.

• Follow building regulations and company safety policies.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily progress reports, site photos, and work updates.

• Track project timelines and report delays or challenges.

• Maintain measurement sheets, checklists, and handover documentation.

7. Client & Vendor Handling

• Address client concerns and provide updates on work progress.

• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and installation of materials.

8. Time & Cost Control

• Monitor work schedule to ensure on-time project delivery.

• Help reduce rework and avoid cost overruns.

• Support project manager in planning and sequencing of activities.
