Job Title: Interior AutoCAD Handling & Operations Executive
Department: Interior Design / Projects
Location: Mumbai
Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Head
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and managing AutoCAD drawings, coordinating project operations, tracking project schedules, maintaining documentation, and supporting project execution for interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
AutoCAD & Drawing Management
Prepare detailed interior working drawings in AutoCAD.
Develop layout plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring plans, and elevation drawings.
Modify drawings as per client and site requirements.
Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
Coordinate with designers, architects, and site teams for drawing updates.
Project Operations
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Track material requirements and delivery schedules.
Maintain BOQ, material records, and project documentation.
Support procurement and billing teams with project-related information.
Ensure drawings and approvals are issued on time.
Scheduling & Planning
Prepare project schedules and activity trackers.
Monitor project timelines and milestones.
Follow up with site teams regarding daily progress.
Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
Coordinate manpower deployment as per project requirements.
Identify project delays and escalate issues to management.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project MIS reports.
Keep records of drawings, approvals, work orders, and correspondence.
Prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and progress reports.
Update project trackers and dashboards regularly.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (mandatory).
Knowledge of interior fit-out drawings.
Good understanding of BOQ and project documentation.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of project scheduling and planning.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3D software.
Experience with project management tools.
Experience in commercial office interior projects.
Qualification
Diploma/B.E. Civil / Interior Design / Architecture.
AutoCAD Certification preferred.
