Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman who is proficient in AutoCAD and has experience in preparing detailed technical drawings for furniture and interior projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in the same or a related field, with a good understanding of design intent and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD

• Draft furniture layouts, interior working drawings, joinery details, and production-ready drawings

• Interpret architectural and design drawings and convert them into technical details

• Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment with design concepts

• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions

• Make modifications as per client and team feedback

• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Draughtsman in the furniture/interior industry

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory

• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills

• Knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and finishes

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in drafting work

• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Draftsmanship, Interior Design, or a related field

• Knowledge of other design software (SketchUp, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
