Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Drafting: Prepare detailed production, assembly, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.Detailing: Develop complex joinery details, cross-sections, and hardware specifications.Material Optimization: Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cutting lists for the workshop.Site Coordination: Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and production teams to ensure drawings are practical and to resolve design discrepancies.Revisions: Update existing drawings based on client feedback, site measurements, or production constraints.Essential RequirementsSoftware Skills: High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; familiarity with SketchUp or SolidWorks is a strong advantage.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood materials, standard carcass/joinery techniques, and hardware integration.Experience: Typically 2 to 5+ years of proven experience in furniture drafting, custom cabinetry, or architectural millwork.Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for dimension accuracy and tolerance standards.
