Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to conceptualize, plan, and execute interior spaces that meet our clients’ functional and aesthetic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of style, excellent space-planning skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion while staying within budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand needs, preferences, and budget constraints.

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to communicate ideas.

• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using CAD and design software.

• Select materials, furnishings, lighting, and décor elements that align with the design vision.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules.

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of the design plan.

• Conduct site visits to oversee progress and address design-related issues.

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.

• Ensure designs comply with safety, building codes, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

• Strong creative vision and knowledge of color theory, space planning, and materials.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.

• Knowledge of furniture design and custom fabrication.

• Project management certification or training.

Work Environment

This position involves both office-based design work and on-site project supervision. Occasional travel to client locations and supplier showrooms may be required.
