Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Create design concepts, space plans, and drawings (layouts, sections, elevations).

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs align with electrical, plumbing, and structural requirements.

• Prepare accurate technical drawings for construction.

• Communicate with clients, present design ideas, gather feedback, and provide updates.

• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures based on design goals and budget.

• Visit sites to monitor progress and resolve design or installation issues.

• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.

• Apply sustainable and functional design practices in all projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in interior design, including layout, section, and elevation drawings with electrical and plumbing integration.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
