Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and materials, and the ability to bring clients’ visions to life. The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing interior design projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.

• Create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces.

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, 3D renderings, and material boards.

• Select furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories in alignment with the design concept.

• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

• Work with architects, contractors, and suppliers to implement design plans.

• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and best practices.

• Ensure all designs comply with safety, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

• Present ideas and design solutions to clients for approval.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.

• Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in residential, commercial, or hospitality design.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Enscape.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of interior design projects.

• Excellent visual awareness and attention to detail.

• Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.

• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, lighting, and building materials.

• Certification or licensure (e.g., NCIDQ) is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with regular travel to client sites and vendors.

• May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
