Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and furnish interior spaces that reflect our clients’ needs, style, and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual design skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, style preferences, and functional requirements.

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for client approval.

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp.

• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories in alignment with design intent and budget.

• Work closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure design execution aligns with project specifications.

• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.

• Conduct site visits to oversee design implementation and resolve on-site issues.

• Stay updated with industry trends, sustainability practices, and new materials/products.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• [2–3] years of professional experience in interior design (depending on role level).

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Etc.)

• Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and materials.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Preferred:

• Experience in [residential / commercial / hospitality / retail] design projects.

• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED standards.

• Portfolio showcasing previous design work.
