Interior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with expertise in AutoCAD 2D to produce precise technical drawings for interior fit-out and design projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming design concepts into accurate, professional drawings that guide the execution process on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, and sections.

• Translate design concepts and sketches into technical drawings aligned with project specifications.

• Coordinate with senior designers and project managers to ensure drawings meet the design intent and technical requirements.

• Revise drawings based on feedback from the design and site teams.

• Organize and maintain CAD files and drawing logs according to company standards.

• Assist with space planning, interior layouts, and efficient use of space.

• Prepare as-built drawings and conduct site measurements when necessary.

• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes and project standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in interior design drafting.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (mandatory).

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical detailing, joinery, and interior finishes.

• Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and drawing accuracy.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Other Requirements:

  • Portfolio of AutoCAD 2D work must be presented during the interview process.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or retail interior projects.

• Knowledge of local construction practices and interior materials.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based or hybrid work arrangement.

• May require occasional site visits for measurements or coordination.
