Key Responsibilities:
Design and Drafting: Create detailed interior design plans, layouts, and elevations using CAD software.
Material Knowledge: Expert understanding of materials such as ceiling systems, electrical setups, plumbing, and air conditioning installation.
Vendor Coordination: Work closely with vendors to source quality materials and ensure timely delivery.
Labor Coordination: Manage and oversee labor teams to ensure the smooth execution of designs and adherence to timelines.
Client Management: Serve as the point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, understanding their requirements, and delivering designs that meet their needs.
Site Supervision: Monitor and ensure design execution on-site, handling any issues that may arise during the construction or installation phase.
Project Management: Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, particularly in the retail industry.
Strong proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design purposes.
In-depth knowledge of retail materials including ceiling systems, electrical, plumbing, and AC installations.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and labor teams.
Ability to solve problems on-site and ensure smooth project execution.
Detail-oriented with a creative approach to design solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in handling large-scale retail projects.
Certification in Interior Design or related fields is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
