Interior Designer

common tasks and responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D working drawings.

• Collaborate on material selection and client presentations.

• Create high-quality 3D renders.

3D Modeling: Create 3D models of buildings, interiors, landscapes, or products using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or 3ds Max.

Texturing and Material Application: Apply textures and materials to 3D models to make them look realistic. This includes adding finishes like wood, metal, glass, and various surface materials.

Lighting: Set up lighting within 3D scenes to create realistic and aesthetically pleasing visualizations. This involves adjusting the intensity, color, and positioning of light sources.

Rendering: Use rendering software to produce high-quality images and animations from the 3D models.

Visualization of Design Concepts: Help designers and architects present their ideas by creating 3D renderings that convey design concepts, layouts, and spatial arrangements to clients and other team members.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR): work on creating immersive VR and AR experiences, allowing clients and stakeholders to explore designs in a more interactive way.

Presentation and Communication: Present 3D visualizations to clients and other stakeholders, explaining design concepts and addressing questions and concerns.

Keep up to date with the latest 3D modeling and rendering software, techniques, and trends in the design and architecture industry.
