About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with prior experience in modular furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production drawings, material specifications, and modular furniture design processes, along with a creative approach to interior planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations based on client requirements.

• Create detailed production drawings for modular furniture including wardrobes, kitchens, workstations, and storage units.

• Coordinate with factory teams for design feasibility, joinery details, and production accuracy.

• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth execution as per approved designs.

• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for furniture and interior elements.

• Conduct site visits to understand space constraints and verify installation quality.

• Maintain project documentation including BOQs, specifications, and revision records.

• Ensure design deliverables meet both aesthetic and functional requirements within timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.

• 0.5 to 2 years of experience in a modular furniture manufacturing or fit-out company.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office (knowledge of 3D visualization tools is a plus).

• Strong understanding of modular furniture systems, joinery details, and material selection.

• Ability to prepare precise production and installation drawings.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with technical and on-site teams.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial and residential modular furniture projects.

• Knowledge of factory production processes and quality control.

• Familiarity with modular furniture hardware systems.
