We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Interior Designer to join our furniture showroom. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customers' interior requirements, preparing design concepts, recommending suitable furniture and furnishings, and converting design consultations into sales.
Key Responsibilities
Meet customers in the showroom and understand their interior design requirements, preferences and budget.
Prepare interior design concepts, layouts and furniture arrangements.
Recommend suitable furniture, décor, fabrics, lighting and other furnishing products.
Create quotations based on the customer's requirements and selected products.
Coordinate with the sales team to convert design enquiries into orders.
Take measurements at customer sites when required.
Conduct site visits and understand space, dimensions and installation requirements.
Coordinate with customers, sales teams, vendors and installation teams.
Modify designs based on customer feedback.
Follow up with customers regarding quotations, designs and orders.
Maintain records of customer enquiries and projects.
Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing and within the customer's budget.
